Spidey might just convince Shang-Chi to teach him some new moves!

The final issue of this series sports a cover by David Mack, well known for his art on Daredevil and his creator-owned Kabuki. Continued from the previous issue, the story is framed in context to a Chinese fairy tale in which a prince leaves his father's kingdom and encounters a spider. The issue then opens with Leiko Wu enlisting the gang that Shang-Chi single handedly thrashed in # 15 to subdue Shang-Chi. In exchange, her benefactor (Fu Manchu) will allow the gang to run his East Coast operation. Elsewhere, Mary Jane Watson and Peter Parker are talking about Shang-Chi's victory over the gang and MJ suggests that Parker, as Spider-Man, should attempt to hire the Master of Kung-Fu to teach him how to fight. Later, the owner of the fish market where Shang-Chi is employed pays his employee and tells him to leave, that Fu Manchu knows where he is and is sending men after him. As Shang-Chi is leaving, the gang appears. The fight begins in Shang-Chi's favor, but a knife slash from one of the gang members begins to turn the tide in their direction. Fortunately, Spider-Man arrives and helps Shang-Chi defeat the gang. In return, the Master of Kung-Fu teachers the wall-crawler a move called "the White Ape."

Note: On the last panel of the page when the gang confronts Shang-Chi, there is a feminine smirk, implying the presence of Leiko Wu. However, she does not participate in the battle and is not seen again in this issue. One can assume, however, that she observed the action and reported afterward to Fu Manchu.
